Two searches in North Highline

1:52 AM: First, Seattle Police and King County Sheriff’s Deputies have been looking for a driver who fled the scene of a crash on Roxbury near the Safeway store. Now there’s word of a shooting in the 9700 block of 12th SW – this is according to Seattle 911 traffic, so we don’t know much yet, but there is a search reported under way for a suspect. More as we get it.

1:57 AM UPDATE: Seattle Police now report, over the radio, that there is “no shooting.” … but a few minutes later, an officer reported finding an “assault victim” in the 9600 block of 15th SW.

  1. There was police activity down the street from evergreen high school on 6/20/12 there were swat and massive police. The whole block was blocked off for hours! The house they were believed to be at was because a young man in his 20’s apparently robbed someone at gun point! I also heard that there is a lot of illegal activity in this house as well…….Selling of perscription pills is what the rumor is. But funny haven’t seen anything on this incident????? If it was Bellevue or Medina we would have heard something long time ago!!!!!

  2. Actually … Bellevue and Medina don’t have independent neighborhood news organizations.
However, I understand this was in the Burien city limits. Am trying to follow up with King County to doublecheck that, but if it was in Burien, it’s out of our coverage area, unfortunately.
