Open house this Sunday at Holy Family Parish School
This Sunday, you’re invited to Holy Family Parish School (20th/Roxbury) for an open house featuring its new Spanish-language program. 9:30 am to 2 pm, everybody welcome, according to principal Frank Cantwell.

…how will this promote the proficiency of English? Holy Family is a wonderful Catholic environment, but I feel the true statistics on dual language programs are skewed more towards the funding of these programs (both in the private and public schools) than the overall benefit of learning and understanding ENGLISH. I would like to see monies better spent on Math and Sciences, subjects the United States does not fare as well as other countries.
