The “Kings & Queens of Country”, Johnny Cash, June Carter-Cash, Conway Twitty & Loretta Lynn are coming to White Center for ONE NIGHT ONLY, this Saturday, October 2nd! These LEGENDS of country music will be appearing at the White Center Eagles, tickets are $40.00 for VIP reserved seating or $30.00 for general admission. Ticket includes chicken fettuccini dinner served at 5pm and the show at 7pm. You don’t want to miss your chance to see this LEGENDARY performance presented by Jamie’s Rock & Roll Legends and the White Center Eagles. White Center-based WestSide Baby needs you – tomorrow, while the first leg of its two-prong Stuff the Bus diaper drive is under way at the West Seattle Farmers’ Market 10 am-2 pm, you can have breakfast at the White Center Eagles and help by bringing a diaper donation! Get $2 off by bringing a package of diapers, 9 am-noon Sunday, 10452 15th SW, you don’t have to be a member.

Cool deal. 2-7 pm on Tuesday, July 13th, at the White Center Eagles‘ HQ, donate blood and get rewarded with a pint of beer or a spaghetti dinner – with the spaghetti being served on site 5-7 pm the same day. (Or just show up for dinner; it’s only $5.) They’re also signing up organ donors, AND collecting other donations including diapers for WestSide Baby. The big 8th/Roxbury crash on Friday afternoon reminded us all how important donated blood is – so do your part if you can, and be there.

Kemp Garcia e-mailed to say: “Wednesday night starting at 5 PM we are doing a pulled pork dinner again at White Center Eagles. It is open to families, and people do not need to be a member to come and join in for food. Dinner will end around 7:30. Cost for Dinner will be $6.00 per person. For kids, we will have Bagel Dogs while they last.”

As a trustee for the White Center Eagles, I am organizing a golf tournament to raise funds which will benefit the Seattle Fire Department’s internationally known Medic II – CPR citizen training program. To be held at Foster Golf Link, 13500 Interurban Avenue, Tukwila … The date is June 14 with the first tee time at 10:00 am, ending around 3:00 pm.

I have asked Medic II – CPR citizen training program to do a CPR class for us at the White Center Eagles to be free and open to all. Medic II is willing to send one of its Pioneer CPR Instructors, Murray Lawrence, to do the class on Sunday, May 17, at the White Center Eagles – free to all.
