Fireworks sales in White Center (and the rest of the unincorporated area) start noon Friday

Just in case you’d started to wonder, with the 4th of July just a week from Thursday: Fireworks sales are still legal in unincorporated King County, and they start at noon Friday (June 28th) this year. And fireworks are still banned in the cities around White Center – Seattle, Tukwila, and Burien.

  1. Fireworks that fly into the air and go bang? Like the kind they sell on the reservations? Are legal in White Center?

  2. Again—Thank God we voted to NOT to joint a czarist city!

    (please post)

  3. Legally setting off back yard fireworks is one of my favorite things about living in White Center.

  4. If I understand correctly, the kind of fireworks that are legal off-reservation in King County don’t “go up or blow up” – in other words, only the kind that are sold in the fireworks stands in the Unincorporated Area.

  5. …unfortunately, it does get out of hand, the noise, setting them off all hours, and beyond 7/4, and the poor animals exposed to this!. My neighbor spends over $500 (family poo) for fireworks, but it would just as fun light up a $500 bill (or what ever denomination to make the thrill last longer)
