Highline Public Schools will be 2 hours late today; Seattle Public Schools is also going to start 2 hours late. Meanwhile, a winter storm watch is up for late Tuesday through late Wednesday (forecasts here). For Metro bus updates, here’s the latest list of the ones on “adverse weather” reroutes.

For those of us in unincorporated King county there is a 24/7 Road helpline. I just called in hopes that they will come and de-ice my street. It is a skating rink out there. The woman on the phone said they probably will. Here is a link to there web page:
