UPDATE: Power outage cuts electricity to 2,000+, including southeast White Center
4:40 PM: Thanks to Gill for the tip about the big power outage that’s mostly affecting part of Burien but has also stretched into southeast White Center – the map above is our screenshot from the Seattle City Light outage map. SCL says the cause is “environmental,” so we’re hoping to get some elaboration on that.
6:27 PM: SCL’s Julie Moore tells us that the outage was caused by a pole fire.
