UPDATE: Fire in Top Hat
3:22 PM: Another notable fire response – this time to 1st SW and SW 108th in Top Hat. It’s logged as a brush fire. Seattle Fire units are being summoned to help North Highline FD.
5:55 PM: This did not turn out to be as big as it sounded. It appeared to have been in a front yard.

Yeah, I live about a block away and could see and smell heavy smoke. About 10 minutes prior, I heard a firecracker coming from the same location. This could have been VERY bad, as there are several businesses and residential buildings nearby. Not sure why people feel the need to set off fireworks.. especially when it is this dry. They either don’t care at ALL about anyone else.. or they are extremely ignorant. Around this neighborhood, it’s probably both.
