Man injured in early morning White Center shooting

From the King County Sheriff’s Office:

Just before 2 am, deputies responded to a shooting at 15th Ave SW/SW Roxbury St. They contacted a 40-year-old male with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Harborview Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Multiple shots were fired and the victim was hit at least once. The suspect is described as a male in dark colored clothing. The suspect is at large. We have no further information at this time.

  2. Its because the vic was probably playin the streets and everyone knows once you make that decision that police cooperation is off limits. I grew up there too, graduated evergreen. I moved away 4 years ago. I still visit but its not realistic to live there.

  3. I’ve lived two blocks away now for less than a year. In that time there have been four shootings at this intersection. I’m really hoping White Center votes for annexation, so both sides of the street are under one jurisdiction. Maybe then we can just have a cop car parked there 24hrs. Getting a little fed up with this.
