Suspect in custody after search crosses into county
11:53 PM: Still trying to unravel exactly what happened, but Seattle Police tracked a suspect into White Center tonight and have just taken him into custody near Marv’s Broiler in downtown White Center. The call apparently started with a report of a man with a knife in South Delridge; SPD was searching, and then found their suspect, who was reported to have been on a bicycle. King County Sheriff’s Deputies were on the case too. We’ll add anything more that we find out.

KCSO Deputies responded to the Texaco at Roxbury/15 just after 1115 for a subject that had been stabbed in the hip. When we got a suspect description and advised SPD to be on the lookout, we learned they were looking for the same subject for another incident on the Seattle side. Both KCSO and SPD deployed canines and searched the area. SPD found the suspect first, near Marv’s Broiler. The suspect was booked at King County Jail and the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries; unknown what precipitated the assault. I’m not sure what SPD’s incident related to this was.
