Woman turns up dead outside Roxbury Safeway

King County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating right now; KCSO tells us the body was brought to the store by two men – no evidence so far of whether a crime was or wasn’t involved. Here’s what we have written about it on partner site West Seattle Blog.

I’ve been on the fence about “do I have time” to volunteer for the White Center clean up on 5/16. After reading the compassion-less responses to this woman’s death on the West Sea blog, I have been pushed off- I’m going to the CDA site and signing up now. There’s always time to help your community.

Verde, like you, I find the lack of compassion of many of the people commenting on WSB very troubling. I often wrestle with what is the best way to deal with such ignorant individuals and don’t really have an answer, but I do know that as Martin Luther King so wisely noted, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
Thank you for speaking out.

I agree, what a sad situation for the woman. I wander if some of those commentors on the wsb would think twice about what they write. I knew her. If they knew she had 3 back to back seizures right before her death, what would they say then? Her signifigant other and sister are devistated and I hope they never see what was written by some of those commentor’s. Some people can be cruel.
