Youth Artists to Unveil New Mural at Free White Center Summer Showcase
Community members are invited to celebrate the end of summer with Urban ArtWorks and Technology Access Foundation (TAF) at a free showcase as they unveil a new mural created by local youth artists.
The mural is being created by young artists participating in Urban ArtWorks’ Mural Apprentice Program (MAP). Guests at the event will also have the opportunity to explore additional featured artwork from youth participating in Urban ArtWorks’ summer programs.
The celebration is an opportunity for neighbors, families and community members to see the young artists’ work, celebrate their creativity and experience a new piece of public art in White Center.
Light refreshments will be served, and the event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are encouraged to help organizers plan for attendance.
