Crash involving deputy closes 16th/102nd
Thanks to Geoffrey for the photo. A crash left 16th/102nd closed for a while at midday today. We asked King County Sheriff’s Office whether that was because of, for example, the severity of injuries. A KCSO spokesperson replied:
This was an accident that did involve a deputy. Everyone involved was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The roadway is back open.

The flood lights that are on the old KFC building, the new Wendy’s hamburger place are blinding me when I’m trying to sleep, the lights actually shine through my windows and I live blocks away from the building, it’s only because they are located so up high that they shine over houses into my bedroom window.
People need to slow down on residential streets and on 16th Avenue SW, come just a few blocks away from 16th Avenue onto my residential street and you will see cars constantly speeding down the street.
