E-mailed 10/4: “I saw a runaway dog this morning (8:10) and figured maybe my information could help the owners find it if it doesn’t return to home. It was some type of terrier maybe a rat. Looked like a rat in profile. It was mostly white with some black markings. He/she was about 15-20lbs, and a 6inch long tail. The dog looked sort of wet like it had been outside for awhile. Very friendly with my dog which I tried to use as a distraction to catch it. I tried to catch it but it was very nervous of me and wouldn’t let me get near it. I could see the dog had an orangeish/brown collar with plastic snap. I didn’t notice any tags. The dog looked like it would go pretty far so I made a map so maybe the owners can trace the dogs path. I first saw it near 10419 18th Ave SW.”

WHO: The dog has a tag with the name “Tucker” and a non working phone number. I took him to check for a microchip and he does have one, however the address is in California and again, the phone number is not working. This is a very sweet little male dog, and has been well taken care of and has very good manners. I think someone is very sad tonight that their pup is gone. He seems to be a mature adult, I would guess at least 5-7 years old (but that is just a guess). He loves to ride in the car and is very well mannered.
