Update: Missing teenager turns out to be safe after all

UPDATE: The teenage boy reported earlier as missing apparently had been safely found even before authorities put out the call for help – King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sgt. John Urquhart says someone found him by a road late this morning and took him to Harborview Medical Center, and due to the communications challenges of his autism, it took a while before everyone realized who he was. Bottom line, he’s OK and safe. Our original story is after the jump:

King County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking for your help in finding the boy in the photo, last seen at Evergreen Aquatic Center. Their announcement:

The help of the public is needed to find a missing 15 year-old autistic boy with virtually no communication skills. He will probably panic when he gets scared.

The boy, Frank Ngyuen, was last seen this morning about 7:45 AM at the Evergreen High School Pool in White Center, 820 SW 116th St. His residence is about a mile away in Burien.

Frank is about 160 lbs., 5’ 7” and medium build. He was wearing a BB hat, white polo shirt with a long sleeve shirt underneath and blue jeans. He was not wearing a jacket.

If anyone has seen this boy they are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
