King Counties Parks Manager of maintenance and writer met with the vice Principal of Cascade Middle School on litter from campus affecting Hicks Lake Water and the neighborhood no resolution.
We visited Lakewood Park to verify further clean up and was told why their is no doors on restroom Stalls vandals tear them off. no paper towels vandals destroy or burn them, they tried electric hand dryers but they were vandalzed.
Need a full time person to occupy the Park house to help control.

Thanks, Dick, for making our students' CityQuest experience a good one. You're a great community resource, and an excellent example for our students of someone who'll stand up for our community.

It would be great after restoring the lake load it with fish, I have been there before it's not healthy. One type of fish that would help with invasive weeds would be grass carp. Have the Dept.of Fish and Wildlife office come out to give recomendations maybe even stock it. There was once fishing allowed. There should be signs with warnings about $ fines for litering in the water. It would be a better enviroment for people to come bring there kids.
